Our story
Moreno Valley's Trusted Smog & Repair Shop
At Best Valley Smog & Auto Repair, we've built our reputation one honest diagnosis at a time. Owner Phil and our team specialize in the kind of straight talk that's hard to find at a repair shop — clear explanations, fair pricing, and repairs that actually fix the problem.
We work on everything from daily drivers to well-loved older vehicles that other shops don't want to touch. Whether you need a state smog check or a full diagnostic, our technicians walk you through exactly what's going on with your car before any work begins.
If your vehicle doesn't pass smog the first time, we'll explain why, offer a discounted retest, and get you back on the road passing and legal.

What customers say
“I drive older vehicles and Best Valley Smog and Auto is the only place I trust to work on them. They provide honest service, do great work, and stand behind their work. What more can you ask for in a shop? It doesn't hurt that the owner, Phil, is a jeep guy as well.”
“Excellent service! Very detailed with the issues on my truck. Phillip is an amazing person and honest — that's key when dealing with mechanics. I would highly recommend Best Valley Smog. I've been a satisfied customer for over 8 years.”
“I've been coming here for years. Only place I go to for my smog checks. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this place for any service they provide.”
